The first edition of Avant-Goth Theater is coming on October 30th 2026 at Volksbad Flensburg!

Avant-Goth Theater is an immersive two-hour collaborative performance that dissolves the boundaries between concert, theater, and ritual. Rather than presenting a series of individual acts, the production unfolds as one continuous experience in which live music, movement, spoken word, drag performance, and visual storytelling are seamlessly interwoven.

 

Featuring Moons In Retrograde, drone project Hohlwelt, Butoh dance, spoken word, and drag artists including Janime Unicorn, each performance emerges organically from the evolving soundscape, creating a dark and cinematic journey through liminal space. Exploring themes of transformation, duality, and the unseen, Avant-Goth Theater invites audiences to step beyond everyday reality and into an atmosphere where music, performance, and visual art become one living work.
